Deceptive

Developing what was needed in the original sketches, more and more I found things I would like to have, or info needed to fill out these screens. Alot of the look end up being the more neutral than I wanted to be. Balancing the menus versus the actual card art or characters is very difficult. The card art and characers could be in any art style, and I anticipate guest artists or collaborations that would make the menus harder to design for. Being more subtle with flavor elements was the way to go, but I might turn it up once the game progress' more.

First pass layout - I ended up flipping everything upside down and added more elements.
It had to fit all of the other screens in the middle.
I ended up adding player online card, promo/news card, and currency.
All buttons and layout elements
Setting menu - various audio settings

Online elements

Player banners and ranking pointis nothing really new for online play. Iit is a standard with competitive online games to help personalize the experience. This was another style of art that could be applied on top of the existing style and competes with the cards' art styles.

Online menu - Added rank, character selected, and match count, could add other stats
Collection Screen - This is the example where there are the most art styles on screen and have to make them feel like they all belong together.
