Movie Ties

Worked along side Marvel and Sega to create this one. Worked closely to get correct look with movie marketing.
This game was also developed for 3DTVs! (Remeber that??) This is the only 3DTV game I worked on.

Here is the evolution on a few screens.

Difficult Stoppage

We had to stop production because of the writers strike and come back to it over a year later.
Game development YAY! LOL. Looks change, scripts change and switching gears and production teams on the other side!
I am now pretty seasoned when it comes to switching gears, but this was when I really learned how to adapt.
Understanding new communication styles and deliveries, publishers and marketers throwing wrenches into your plans?!?!

Developing a look

Our development team had some freedom, since we were not stuck with the movie script. We could use Baron Zemo and use more hydra assets.
So at least we could make something that was ours.
I went from a historical look, archival desk then switched to something more based off of gameplay, using blueprints and caps vision as inspiration

This was a hard project, we had to fight against the writer's strike and it was a game that came out along with the movie.
Along with the gamers at the times' thoughts on movie related games.
So many hurdles to get over to try and succeed. a small team with heart, and I am super thankful with working with them.

Original image ref, and screen flow on whiteboard.
The original flow of the front end involved Cap running in a central Hub, which was the plane shown in the main menu
